Whisky made from rye, finished in a sauna
The second release in the Sauna Stories series. Distilled from 100% malted rye, this whisky has matured in American white oak casks and been finished in French oak apricot brandy casks. The final touch comes in a sauna heated with residual steam from distillation, where the temperature inside the cask is raised to 50°C.
Kyrö Sauna Stories No2 has exotic wood on the nose, with aromas of vanilla and apricot. The palate brings spicy rye with rich fruitiness. Powerful yet smooth, with a long finish.

All our glass bottles are made from clear recyclable glass (#70 GL). The corks are made from wood (#50 FOR), and the capsule sealing the cork is recyclable plastic (#1 PET). Our packaging is recyclable cardboard (#20 PAP). The plastic bottles in our Tasting Sets are made from recycled plastic (#1 rPET(E)), the caps from aluminium recyclable with metal (#41 ALU) and the box from recyclable cardboard (#20 PAP).
